Sports Terms
Scope and Definitions
These Spinado Sportsbook Rules govern all bets placed on Spinado. They cover pre‑match and in‑play markets, as well as futures bets, and set out how bets are accepted, settled and disputed. Definitions used in these Rules include: Event, a legally recognized sport match or competition; Market, a specific bet type offered on an Event; Bet, the Customer's wager; Stake, the amount staked; Official Result, the result published by the relevant governing body or otherwise used by Spinado for settlement. Spinado may interpret terms to comply with applicable law and may correct obvious errors in markets or settlement.
General Betting Rules
All bets are subject to these Rules. Spinado reserves the right to correct obvious errors in odds, stakes or results and to suspend, void or adjust bets where appropriate. Data provided on the site, including live feeds, may be delayed; customers acknowledge that such data is not guaranteed to be current or accurate. If an Event begins before the scheduled start time, only bets placed before the start are valid for that Event unless the Market is explicitly offered for in‑play.
When English language names conflict with other language names for the same Event, the English designation shall prevail. It is the Customer's responsibility to verify match status and market availability before placing a bet. Spinado reserves the right to amend these Rules at any time; changes take effect upon posting and apply to bets placed after posting unless stated otherwise.
Age and eligibility: bets are available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old and resident in jurisdictions where online gambling is permitted. Spinado may require proof of age or residence before processing a withdrawal.
Bet Types and Wagering
Spinado offers several bet types. The following descriptions are standard meanings unless a market specifies otherwise.
- Single Bets: a wager on the outcome of a single Event or market.
- Accumulator/Combo Bets: a wager on multiple Events; all selections must win for the stake to return at the combined odds. If any selection fails, the bet loses in full.
- System Bets: a structured bet that allows multiple selections where only some legs need to win; payouts reflect the number of winning legs. System bets may list banker or fixed components as part of the structure.
- Banker Bets: a component within a System that must win for the overall bet to succeed; if the banker fails, the system bet may fail even if other legs win.
- Outright Bets: futures markets on the overall winner of a competition or season, settled based on the final official result.
Dead Heat rules apply where a market ends with two or more winners. The stake is divided among winners; full odds are applied to the divided stake, with the remainder, if any, forfeited. Spinado may publish specific market rules that govern particular bet types; where conflicting, the market rule controls.
In‑Play and Live Betting
In‑play or live betting prices are subject to rapid change as events unfold. Bets placed during live events may be subject to timer acceptance, in which case each bet carries an internal countdown to acceptance. Spinado may apply delays to in‑play odds and may refuse or void bets where prices are not representative of the current market or where systems indicate irregularities. If a bet is accepted after an Event has started, it may be void except where the in‑play service expressly allows such bets under its criteria.
Customers acknowledge that live data (current score, time elapsed) may be delayed from real time and that bets placed on this data are at the customer’s risk. Spinado makes no guarantee of continuous or error‑free pricing in live markets and reserves the right to suspend, modify or disable any live market without prior notice.
Market Status and Event Alterations
Events and Markets may be subject to abandonment, postponement, or venue changes. If an Event is not completed by the originally scheduled time, bets may be void unless expressly stated otherwise for the Market. If a venue or home/away designation changes, Spinado will determine whether bets remain valid. If a Market is not completed as listed, Spinado retains the right to settle based on the official result or our best available evidence in accordance with these Rules. Where a discrepancy exists between listed details and actual play, Spinado’s decision is final.
In the case of changes to the format or kick‑off times, bets placed prior to revised times may stand if not otherwise voided by the Sport’s market rules. If a match is postponed or cancelled, unsettled bets may be voided at Spinado’s discretion unless outcomes have already been determined.
Settlement, Results and Disputes
Settlement is based on official results or Spinado’s acceptable evidence if official results are not available. If a result is disputed, Spinado may refer to official governing body results, or video evidence if available, to determine the correct settlement. Spinado’s decision on unsettled bets and disputed outcomes is final. If an event is altered after the fact (for example, weigh‑in adjustments in racing), the amendment will be ignored for settlement if the event has concluded and the result is official.
In the event of a live dispute, claims must be raised promptly through Customer Services. If unresolved, the Head of Sportsbook may adjudicate as the final authority.
Soccer Specific Rules
General soccer markets are settled on the result at the end of regular time, including added stoppage time but excluding extra time and shootouts unless specified. VAR decisions may affect the final outcome for settlement. Cards are settled as follows: yellow cards count as one card, red and yellow‑red cards count as two; a second yellow that results in a card‑in‑card event is not separately counted beyond the two‑card limit. First Goalscorer does not count own goals. Any goalscorer markets use the official event data for settlement, including substitutions and players who take part since kick‑off; if a player is not listed, winners are settled on those who participated. Any goal scored during regular time is attributable to the listed market unless stated otherwise. In the event of a dead heat in a market with more than two runners, the stake is divided evenly among winners and payout applied to each portion at the stated odds.
Corner markets, goal timing, and card markets follow the base settlement rules described above unless the market documentation specifies otherwise. If a match is finalized with an official result after an event is settled, adjustments will be made only as required by official governing bodies and Spinado’s internal processes.
Horse Racing Specific Rules
Ante‑post and Non Runner No Bet terms apply where stated. For standard double result markets, a winner or placed horse will be settled as First Past the Post in conjunction with the official result. Official results published by racing authorities govern settlement; if weigh‑in or stewards’ inquiries alter the official result, the amendment is reflected for settlement in Spinado’s favor where applicable. Non runner no bet and price/place terms are defined in market terms and take precedence over earlier published prices. Double Result concessions apply on all selections not excluded by market rules, with settlements based on the official result and any applicable exceptions stated in the market description.
Data, Accuracy and Reliability
Spinado relies on data feeds from third‑party providers for live information. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, Spinado does not guarantee real‑time data and bears no liability for inaccuracies or omissions. Where there is a conflict between site data and official results, Spinado will determine settlement in good faith based on available official information or video evidence when available. Spinado reserves the right to correct pricing errors and to void or adjust bets where required by these Rules and by law.
Maximum Winnings and Time of Acceptance
Maximum and minimum bet limits vary by sport and market. Bets placed using timer acceptance are subject to a countdown, and the accepted time is the determining moment for settlement. If a bet is accepted after an Event has started, it will be void unless the Market explicitly permits in‑running bets. Spinado may alter odds or suspend markets during live play and may void or suspend bets where necessary to preserve market integrity.
Responsible Gaming and Eligibility
Customers must be 18+ and comply with the laws of their jurisdiction. Spinado provides responsible gaming information and tools to manage wagering activity. Participation is prohibited where prohibited by law; customers must ensure their activities comply with local regulations.
Customer Support and Dispute Resolution
Claims or disputes should be raised with Spinado Customer Services promptly. If unresolved by front‑line support, the Trading team will review the issue. If still unresolved, the Head of Sportsbook will provide a final decision. Spinado will communicate the outcome and any applicable remedy where legally required.
Amendments and Updates
Spinado reserves the right to amend these Rules at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on the Spinado site and apply to bets placed after posting unless a contrary notice is given. Continued betting after posting constitutes acceptance of the updated Rules.
